The centre of site, and the place to think, talk and be provoked, as we explore our relationship with the natural world with speakers, philosophers, artists and scientists. Meanwhile, fill your bellies from our wonderful street food vendors.

As the crow flies.

The gateway from your day to day lives into the beautiful place that is Timber, with incredible installations and artwork surprising all your senses.

The canopy.

In the most mature woodland on site, fling yourself into the forest, climb trees and leap from log to log in the most adventurous of play. As dusk falls gather round our flickering campfire.

The common.

Create, make and be inspired by art and craft rooted in the forest. Participate in collaborative sculptures, and create mementos and memories to take away.

The coppice.

Explore as a family our curious woodland spaces, be surprised by secret adventures, strange beasts and immersive experiences.

A gathering light.

Spectacular installations and performance as night falls. Our Timber community will come together for spellbinding moments as we see the forest in a new light.


Relax and reflect in this special, quiet space, where you can bathe in the forest, as well as in a hot tub, and embark on a huge range of relaxation and meditative experiences.

Halcyon days.

Gather at Halcyon Days to venture into uncharted territory on thoughtful and provoking walks and adventures, or stick around and learn new skills, be amazed by acrobats and aerialists playing in the trees.

The eyrie stage.

Music, spoken word, DJs and poetry, all from a nest stage raised above you in a beautiful woodland setting.
