How would you like to train as a Forest Bathing practitioner?
Forest Bathing simply means immersing yourself in a forest setting, simply being present in the natural world. It is a wonderful way to calm our senses in a busy world. It reconnects us to the natural world through trees and woodlands and imparts us with a profound sense of peace. Do you have a passion to bring this sense of peace to others in the tranquillity of The National Forest? Can you see how this could be a developing programme of activity that would generate income?
Timber Festival and the National Forest Company are joining forces to provide a training bursary of up to £2,500 for one special person to train as a Forest Bathing Practitioner and develop their enterprising practice in The National Forest with local support to help you get going. The winner of the bursary will be expected to deliver a minimum of 20 Forest Bathing Sessions each for up to 4 people within the National Forest.
To apply, fill in the form in the link above, before 29th June 2018, we’ll ask you in 200 words to tell us:
What skills and experience you have that make you a suitable winner of this bursary
How you will deliver sessions in The National Forest and attract participants to the area.
How it will benefit the wellbeing of communities locally.
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to come and discuss your ideas with us at Timber Festival on Sunday 8th July. We will provide 4 free tickets for Timber Festival to shortlisted applicants. We’ll be in touch by beginning of July to let you know if you’ve made the shortlist.
