As producer and director of the Woodland episode of the BBC’s hugely successful “Wild Isles”, Chris Howard spent a lot of time exploring the forests of the UK to bring them to our screens.
Using stories gleaned from his travels and filming trips, this unique talk will take us on a journey through some of those woodlands, showing us that although we are massively depleted in terms of our tree cover in the UK, we still have a huge variety of wild and wonderful woodland experiences out there.
Chris will also be joined by Jason Singh, who will weave an accompanying soundtrack using filed recordings, sound effects and vocal performance – creating what promises to be a memorable moment in the woods.
