Wilderness Tracks
Listen back to Wilderness Tracks, presented by BBC Radio 4’s Geoff Bird. In each episode, a writer, artist or musician shares six songs which soundtrack their relationship with nature. Wilderness Tracks is recorded live at Timber each year. The second series was mostly recorded remotely throughout 2020 when restrictions allowed.
SEAMS
SEAMS: an audio piece conceived at the point that a technical drawing from the coal-mine that once operated beneath the site of the National Forest came to light, illustrating the numerous different seams of rock and coal reaching far underground. The result is a rich subterranean soundscape and unique piece of audio art.
