‘The Lady of the Forest’ exhibition is a photographic documentation of a National Forest Arts awarded project by performance artist Evelyn Silver who will be appearing at car boot sales within the National Forest boundary, engaging with local women about their life and response to their ‘back yard’.
The exhibition will capture some of the women being ‘knighted’ in short fun ceremonies to become a ‘Lady of the Forest’ resulting in evocative, poignant portraits celebrating local women’s connection with the National Forest.
Exhibited as part of the National Forest Art Grant Project.
