The Hazel Press Caravan

Drop by the Hazel Press Caravan for conversation about writing and greener publishing practices.

Drop by the Hazel Press Caravan for impromptu poetry readings, contemplative drawing workshops, storytelling and conversation about writing and greener publishing practices.

Hazel Press is an independent eco-feminist publisher producing short books of poetry, essays and interdisciplinary work with a strong sense of place. All titles are printed in the UK using 100% recycled paper and vegetable-based inks.

The caravan is hosted by Hazel founder Daphne Astor, and commissioning editor Sara Hudston. Daphne is a writer, artist and regenerative farmer who lives near Cambridge.

Sara is a West Country writer and longstanding Guardian Country Diarist. Both are inspired by the spirit of place and the living world and they seek to share their knowledge by collaborating with authors, readers, booksellers and other publishers to find more eco-aware ways to produce, distribute and enjoy books.
