All new concrete-less play structure.
Timberplay are delighted to showcase, for the first time, an important progression for the organisation and their global partners in terms of Sustainability.
“The Climbing Structure we are bringing to the festival will be installed without the need for concrete foundations, which will save huge amounts of Carbon from our installations. Through sales of our Concrete-less Climbing Structures we will be taking significant steps to reducing the carbon footprint of our projects, and those of our clients.
The environmental ethos of Timber is why we were happy to partner with Wild Rumpus three years ago – as well as the clear synergies in terms of playfulness and natural connections. The festival is therefore the perfect place for us to launch such a significant step in our journey towards Net Zero.
Timberplay
From the beginning Timberplay and their manufacturer, Richter Spielgeräte, have been fascinated with the great outdoors and all the beauty that nature has to offer. So it’s no surprise that almost 25 years later they are one of the most respected names in the play industry.
Their playgrounds continue to be made from natural, sustainably-forested timber, which not only looks beautiful but also blends in perfectly with the natural landscape. In the wider world, Timberplay wants to make a difference and do its part to protect the environment, creating better and more playful spaces for all. They feel a wonderful alignment with the spirit of Timber, and are thrilled to support the festival for a second year.
