Tickets
All tickets are sold in advance on our website. Full ticket info can be found on our tickets page here, including info on discount for local residents who live in the National Forest. This is also where you can book a car park pass if required (money raised from the sale of car park passes will be invested in new initiatives to make the festival more sustainable.)
Timings
Timber will open for campers to arrive and pitch up from 12:00 on Friday 5th July. Programming will begin at 14:00. The programming will finish late on Sunday evening and campers are welcome to stay on site until 11:00 on Monday 8th July when we ask that you are all packed up and ready to hit the road.

For day ticket holders access will be 09:00 on Saturday & Sunday and you can stay until late (day ticket holders will not have access to the camping areas and may not stay over on site).

Camping
Camping is not in allocated pitches so if you wish to camp with friends we suggest you arrive early and choose a spot where there will be space to save room for friends and family arriving later. Head to the further parts of the area for quieter camping.

Nobody is permitted to sleep in the car park (in a tent, car, campervan or caravan).

Campervans and caravans will only be granted entry to the live-in vehicle area with a pre-booked campervan/caravan/live-in vehicle pass (a separate car park pass is not also needed). Each live-in vehicle can have one tent to camp alongside it.

The campsite is a short walk from the car park and from the main festival site.

Love Feanedock
Feanedock is part of a forest in the making, we have chosen it as our festival home because it sits in the heart of the National Forest and helps tell the story of this bold environmental project.

Feanedock is what the festival is all about, so we ask that you explore and revel in this beautiful landscape but also respect it, try not to disturb local wildlife and help us to keep it clean and tidy, use the correct recycling facilities and leave no trace.

Cooking & Fires
We love campfires, however we need to restrict them to the main campfire circle. There are no fires – or barbeques – allowed anywhere else on site, the same rules apply in the camping areas. Any cooking equipment (eg camping stoves) must be raised off the floor by at least 15cm (6inch) to prevent fires and damage to the grass. If you wish to use your cooker, please do so outside the tent and some distance away from other tents.

Also, for safety reasons, please don’t use candles or lanterns containing candles in the camping areas. Chinese lanterns are also banned. Please be sensible and help us to keep the festival and surrounding countryside safe.

Toilets & Showers
There are toilets situated around the site and they will be marked on the map. Your camping area may not be right next door to the loo, but should be no more than a five minute walk.

There are free showers with hot water in the campsite.

There is a sink area for pot washing near the showers as well as sinks for teeth brushing and washing.

Food & Drink
You are very welcome to bring your own food and drink into the campsite. Do not, however, bring any glass with you. Leave all glass at home, decant it into plastic bottles or pots.

You can bring your own alcohol to consume in the camping areas but it is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol into the main festival site. There are licensed bars on-site.

This year we are encouraging everyone to bring their own reusable cups from home.

We will be running a reusable bar cup system again. When you buy a bar drink you’ll be charged £1 for the use of one of our unbranded reusable bar cups for the weekend. Hold onto your cup for the weekend and use it every time you buy a drink from one of our bars. Then return your cup to any of our bars or in our cup bins before you leave.

For hot drinks you will have to bring your own or buy a reusable cup for £4 from the hot drink vendor. There will be no single use cups sold on site.

Welfare
We have first aid provision on site day and night. If you require first aid, please make your way to the first aid point at the information tent. In an emergency, please alert one of the festival stewards who will radio for a medic to attend. Please do not call 999 as our medics will respond quicker.

Water is available from stand pipes around the site – this is drinking water but please don’t drink directly from the taps, please bring a water bottle with you.

Families
You will find a wealth of programming for families at Timber. There is a baby-changing/breastfeeding tent in the Coppice, next to the Lost & Found Child tent. Timber is a breastfeeding-friendly festival. You are welcome to breastfeed anywhere you like on site, but, if you’d like more privacy – we have a breastfeeding tent in The Coppice which is next to the Lost & Found Child tent.

First aid and lost child facilities are available close to the information tent on site.

Lost Children
Grown-ups please ensure you have writen your mobile phone number on your child’s wristband. There is good mobile phone coverage on site and we will call you if you get separated. Please note that children remain the responsibility of parents or carers at all times.
Workshops
Most activities do not need to be booked. Just turn up at the start or drop in, depending on what it is. If the session is already full, you might be asked to come back later. A few workshops do need to be booked. This is specified in the programme.
Phone-charging
A solar-powered phone charging service is available at the Information Tent at the main entrance. It will be open from 8am to 10pm each day. Please bring your own charger, lead and plug. We ask for a small donation for this service (contactless payment).
Cashpoints
There will be no ATMs on site at Timber. Our vendors will all take contactless payment.
Lost Property
Any lost property will be handed into the information tent. Please report anything missing there and go there to check and see if items have been handed in. Post festival you can email us about any missing items at hello@timberfestival.org.uk making sure the subject line reads LOST PROPERTY. The festival takes no responsibility for loss or damage to property incurred at the festival.

Notice about dogs
Due to the varied types of programming on-site, we can’t allow any dogs or domestic animals into the Timber festival site. Only assistance dogs will be permitted. Even though this may be a usual walking spot for you and your pet(s), we can’t guarantee how each animal will react on-site to the amount of people, the music, etc.
Security
The safety of our festival goers is always our top priority. We are working together with our security company and the authorities to put in place all necessary measures. Please don’t leave valuables in your tent.
Photography on-site
You may see our team of photographers and videographers on site recording the festival. If you would prefer not to feature in photos or video, please approach them and let them know.
Finally
Please respect the other festival goers to make our festival a safe and enjoyable one for everyone.

Timber 2024 will take place at Feanedock, in the heart of the National Forest on 5/6/7 July 2024. Look out for Early Bird tickets on sale soon.
