Audio Submission Form

Head into your local forest or greenspace, take out your phone or recording device and make a minute-long recording.

Note: we are updating the soundmap on semi-regular basis, and manually upload each submission one at a time. Please be patient if you don’t see your recording on our map, and avoid sending multiples of the same recording.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE YOUR SOUNDS

Step 1 // Head into your local forest or greenspace, take out your phone and make a minute-long recording using a voice recorder app. We recommend your native recording app (such as Voice Recorder for Samsung, Voice Memo for other Android devices), or download Voice Record Pro from your app store for free.

Note If you are out and about, please continue to observe social distancing. We want you all to remain safe.

Step 2 // Take a picture of the forest scene in front of you. Trees, not people in the picture please.

Step 3 // Fill in the form below, tell us the location, upload your picture and attach your audio file (where it says ‘Attachments’ near the bottom of the form), this can be an MP3, WAV or M4A file-type, we’ll review the audio clip and upload it to our growing soundmap. If you want to submit another audio file from a different location, just fill out the form again with the new location/postcode.
